Mexico approves accession to the Hague System

On September 5, 2019, the Mexican Senate approved the country’s accession to the Hague System (Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, Geneva Act of July 2, 1999). The Agreement establishes an international system that allows industrial designs to be protected in multiple countries or regions with minimal formalities.

The approval was sent to the Executive branch of the government for publication, which should occur in the near future. We will inform you as soon as the date of entry into force is established.
